- Searching - a Google-like search capability with rapid display of results
- Portfolios - dedicated space within each profile for members to upload research papers, CVs, photos and even audio and video
- Messaging - private messaging between members with the ability to receive e-mail notifications when a member receives a message.
- Blogs - a great way for members to write and post about their research and interests.
